Explosion in my motorhome

Well, yes and no. Just been searching and initially found they were around £120 - £140 but have come across a couple of places that seem to do them for £57 and £62.
Oops. That will teach me for opening a thread, then going off and doing something else before responding. You have already found suppliers :) (y)

We had the lid to the sink do the same ,no heat involved 😵‍💫 note when you source a replacement you’ll have to buy the plastic bolts separately they come with a tool and are impossible to fit with said tool (iirc)

Another reason I think inverters and electric kettles are better. I never put the lid down until the burners have cooled down and usually put a cloth under it to stop it rattling, its the quick coffee stops on travelling days that were a pain, often finding myself putting water on stuff so I could get going.

Another good solution for these situations is to fill a flask with boiling water before you get going, although I forgot more often than not

I have the same hob in my 2019 Burstner, when my lpg regulator failed it blew the seals. I was informed this particular hob is no longer in production.
It does appear so but fortunately spare parts are.

Sacrilege!. We are weight-limited but still insist on proper cut glass tumblers for drinking whisky. I hope it wasn't malt whisky! You didn't put ice in, did you?

Bowmore 10 years old single malt! Yes, I do need to get a proper glass for the van, just keep forgetting.

No ice generally - just as it comes. Might put a single ice cube in when the weather is warmer.

Hopefully for some parts, when my regulator failed it blew the little red seals where the manifold and the pipe to each burner, I was told I could only buy each unit (3 off) to get the seals as they are not sold separately.
