At the start of March last year I booked a trip on Eurotunnel to leave end March 2020. Due to lockdown had to change to September but again postponed it do to increase in Covid. The latest I could extended it to was late Feb this year, end of this week in fact, guess what!
Just off the phone to Eurotunnel, very nice lady confirmed that I could only extend up to a year from initial booking so under their terms my booking would expire but she then surprised me by offering a voucher for the fare which has to be used within 12 months To book a trip meaning I can choose to travel any time up to Feb 2023. Then she said they would refund the £40 fare for our dog.
What a result, totally unexpected. Well done Eurotunnel.
