European Accident Statement

Going to Spain in May,just wondering about EAS Form.?
Do you get one from your Insurance Company?
I have got EAS mentioned on my Certificate of Insurance with what looks like a serial number.
Google says it can be issued at time of accident??

So print two and a sheet of carbon paper. Keep it in a card folder.

Carbon paper, now there is a novelty and yes by chance I do still have some I think.

If there are injuries, even slight, the other driver refused to complete the form, or you suspect alcohol or other substances, or you have reason to believe foul play is involved...you have every right to call the police...for a slight accident to.vehicles a Roadside statement needs to be completed if no party suffers an injury

So you fill in the form, but you will assure that there is no foul play. The police will always arrive if summoned and will do due diligence on the matter. I always call them, that's one of the reasons I pay taxes.
