Esterel Manhattan front blind (1 Viewer)

I have an Esterel motorhome where the front blind left hand cord has snapped. does any one know how to remove the complete assembly or even how to replace the cord? I have tried to remove the assembly but gave up as it seems fixed in place even after removing what looked like the fixing screws.
