Just asking the question.
If my engine battery failed, would I be able to use one of my leisure batteries to get me home. Would it start the engine. Fiat Ducato 130
I have two Varta L90

Lead acid battery... Yes you could.

A Proper leisure battery isn't designed for a short, high current load like a starter motor but it will still do the job.
Using it repeatedly wouldn't do it any favours but as a get you home, yes. .

You will probably need some Jump leads though - some internal wiring would not cope with the amperage.
