I’ve been advised by Tayna Batteries to get an Enduroline battery to replace my ageing starter battery. I just wondered if any of the good people on here have had any experience of this brand , good or bad ?

Is it the 019 model ( whatever that means ) as that’s what they’ve recommended to me . Also did you use their fitting service ?i have just bought 1 of their enduroline 100ah starter batteries not had it long enough to establish good or bad but Tayna are a reputable battery dealer so i am hoping all will be well..
it is an 019 and no i did not its simple task especially if you have another vehicle and a set of jumper leads then you have no issues with loss of any settingsIs it the 019 model ( whatever that means ) as that’s what they’ve recommended to me . Also did you use their fitting service ?

Another question if you don’t mind , ours has all sorts of connections and metal plates on the battery which look a bit complicated . How did you tackle that ?

From what I hear a warranty on a vehicle battery is, generally, a waste of paper! It does come with a 5 year warranty so they must trust them.
Thanks for that Phil. I hadn’t thought of using the connections under the bonnet .you only need undo the main clamps at the neg first then pos the whole unit on the pos with then come off complete.
this is what i did...
removed the floor cover,
removed the battery clamp
PUT the NEW battery in the cab ready to lift into place.
connect jumper leads from your car the the under bonnet jump start point on the van. ( this will supply power to the van while you change the battery.
remove the vent pipe from the old battery and one of the red vent bungs in the new battery ( make sure its the correct side )
disconnect the neg lead and secure away from the battery area.
when you lift the black cover off the pos terminal block you will see a red plastic stip with 2 screws in those screws need removing before undoing the clamp.
remove the main Pos clamp and secure it away from the battery area ( i covered it in a Jiffy envelope as a double safety measure.
lift old battery out
put new battery in and attach the vent pipe then reconnect in the reverse order, remember the red strip and 2 screw.
when reconnected safely disconnect the jumper leads to the car .
apologies if this is too prescriptive.
keeps everything out of the way and avoids any possible "MISHAPS"!Thanks for that Phil. I hadn’t thought of using the connections under the bonnet .
