I know that chats on here are meant to be civil and upbeat and I don't want to encourage ANY unpleasantness from any of the contributors.

Now here's the BUT

Could we have just one of the Emoji choices include an angry (or disapproving) face please?

I occasionally read a piece on here - anecdotal maybe - that makes me a bit sweary and i would like to express that as an Emoji, as I accept that a foul comment would be deleted..

Do others think this is a good idea? or should be just stick to being nicey-nicey?

The spanner was as close as we got to a disagreeing emoji. Maybe use the ‘I’ to say ‘I see your post but maybe don’t agree with it’?

😡🤬👿 Any use?

If you want to say something, do so using words.
Hieroglyphics are too ambiguous.
There is also no dictionary in which you can put definitions because there is no sequence to place them in.

Life’s too short, health is too precious and please don’t let it bother you.

That’s the problem with texts, emails, forums etc, we possibly read it in a totally different way than it was written.

Just ignore, move on and enjoy living in the green and pleasant land.

Now if you wanted to make a statement, fine, but don’t get upset or angry over peoples posts, cos it ain’t with it.

Here’s some pictures of kittens and puppies as that’ll cheer up your day.

The spanner was meant to mean ‘useful’ - that was what was displayed if you hovered over it. Quite a lot of Funsters seemed to think it was an insult tho’. A bit like my opinion of the ‘popcorn/dustbin’ reaction button.
