Pretty much since the forum was updated I have had trouble placing emoji's

I am now on google chrome you will be pleased to note (y)

I just created a thread about my awning and when reading through decided a few more emojis would help

I know I need to put my cursor where I want the emoji to appear then click on the smiley face icon

All good until I click on required emoji and it doesn't appear, we ll not where I wanted anyway, going back over the page I find it in a random location

 as with this one, first attempt it appeared above the line above  but this one worked fine

All OK on phone BTW but much easier way to find emojis there (y)

I'm tapping on emoji and a search bar comes up. Type / search in there and suggestions appear

Something that might be another clue, on my laptop, when I click on the smiley icon I get this

I presume this is the same for all, but as soon as I click on one of these the box closes and I have to open again to add a second emoji
