Electric table problem.

Hi, I have a Chausson 510 , which has a made up double bed in the dinette, the problem is the electric table has been installed the wrong way round and won’t fit in the space between the seats. Does anyone know if you can swivel the table , if so, how? Thanking you in anticipation.

We used to have a 510 you can swivel it around think by putting your foot on the round rubber switch at the base of the table. It should then turn. However when we got ours new they had installed it wrong and it had to go back to be put on correctly.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately there is no rubber switch, so our solution is not going to be that easy, we may have to take ours to the dealer to have the problem resolved.

I have a 610 with an electric table. There is a small release handle under the fixed side of the table top. On mine it releases the table lock so can rotated and be repositioned fore and aft and left and right. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply, we have locking handles under the table but they are only for the backwards, forward and side to side nothing to allow rotation.

My table has a reluctance to move as there is a natural detent that the table locks into. Pulling the handle up seems to relax the locking detent and the table swivels. My ODC grandson managed to swivel the table without the handle. No damage done but I always pull the handle and then move / swivel the table. Mine is a 69 reg Chausson if that helps.

Just a thought the operating cable from the handle to the table mechanism isn't wrapped round the leg preventing it from swivelling.
