Hi Everyone, Is it just me thats had to saw off the hinged sprung flap on my EHU lead to be able to insert it in the MH Truma Input Socket?
The Flap was and is facing upwards so without cutting it off it would not allow me to push it fully home.
Strange as I never had this problem on our previous caravan which was the same socket, maybe Carthago have put it in upside down.

Still its working now, just doesn't have a waterproof cover flap.

Thanks for listening, have you had this problem.

If it makes you feel better, I removed ours when we bought our first motorhome - a Chausson - 6 years ago because there was no obvious way to get it in otherwise. In my defence, being a novice I asked the dealer. He muttered something about b - - - - y French and agreed we had to remove the flap! It was the lead we had used on our caravan and we had no difficulty in fitting it to that :france:
