It costs £40 and gives 60gb of 4G data per month for 6 months, it MUST be activated by 31/3/21 and will expire 30/9/21 (hence the cheap price) but it would be ideal for a home or a holiday in the UK if you are likely to need extra data in the next few months (no calls or texts included) but note there is a 25gb limit in total for foreign use over the 6 month period (not per month).

I have only just seen your post but found this deal last night.
The SIM cards sold out but they have some more that will be sent out around 10th April. I have ordered one - they do say that international roaming is not included at all? I’m not sure when the new batch will need activating by as the website doesn’t show much information.

ive just signed up for a years contract with id mobile unlimited unlimited for £10 a month with cash back not sure how much you can use abroad but since i cant see us going for a year im not bothered

It will be activated from the date it is ordered I think from reading the below and renews on the 10th of each month, so if you ordered it on 20th April you'd get the pro rata allowance from 20th April to 10th May as shown and then again at the end from 10th October to 20th October to give you the full 6 months at 60gb but as you say it states no roaming which is probably why it's cheaper than the previous offering:

Pro-Rata
  • The data on these sims will renew on the 10th of each month.
  • In the first month, the data allowance will be pro-rata. For example: -
  • Sim is ordered on 10/04/2021, you would get a full 60GB
  • sim is ordered on 20/04/2021 you would get 40GB allowance to 10/05/2021

Still a great deal for us. I really wanted an EE sim as they have best coverage in one area we go to!!

Just ordered one thanks Mel.
Will probably only use it for 3 out of the 6 months but still a good deal.

If I want any information about the interweb or broadband stuff, I ask one of our numerous grandchildren.
But what do they know about pounds shillings and pence ?

Just put the SIM in my Mifi, to get iit to connect I had to do a manual network selection.
Speed appears to be restricted only getting 13 mb/s compared to my phone on the ee network giving 60mb/s. I changed the apn setting no different will just about be OK for streaming.

Oh that doesn’t seem good. I activated mine last night but didn’t check the speed. I will have to look at that tonight.

Not good but 6 quid a month for 60 gb can't really complain.

I did read somewhere they may take a few hours to properly activate. I have just checked the speed in my sim in a huaweii mifi and I’m getting 52mbs. I activated it yesterday!
Hope yours improves!

Looks like you have an issue with your MIFI Lenny.

They are activated when you order them and renew on 10th each month, this explains it:

It varies up and down the other day I got 30mb/s but its been as low as 1.5mb/s.

Yes me too. Got mine in the May batch and used it over the weekend. Streamed a footy match with no difficulty, no idea what the Megabops were, sufficient presumably.

One thing I should mention is I had a survey from EE with a prize draw for an iPhone 12. I did the survey it then said I’d won a phone and could they take my credit card details for £1 delivery. Clearly it’s a scam and nothing to do with EE or the phone card. But worth knowing about.
