Ebl99 ebl104 mppt victron

have been reading as much as i can before adding a Victron 100/50 or Votronic mppt to my S520. Should i ignore the EBL 104? Is the EBL 104 like tge 99 and just fused?
Batteries are two 225ah 6volt. Had a look at the ebl104 and found an old controller alongside it. Assume it is well out of date . Anyone know anything about this item ,age etc?

I asked Udo Lang the same question, his advice was to bypass the EBL 104, it's an old model with small internal wiring for battery charging

.. connect solar direct to the batteries
