Just had to contact them with new info about John's health. Instead of waiting for ages in a queue to speak to someone I opted for the call back. It said it would be within 30 minutes and it was. Very helpful person who had access to everything that had gone before and understood the importance of the new info being considered before the decision was made on his licence.
She also said they hadn't got a very big backload now.
