Hi everyone,
we want to visit the show this year & need to know 1 if dogs are allowed? & 2 can you park overnight in the van at the show?/ do you have to book a spot? I have tried the website but its not clear what the procedure is. If anyone can give any tips that would be really helpful, thanks in advance.

Was there last year and saw plenty of people with dogs.

Yes you can stop on site in the van, you will need to book a space but booking might not be open yet, you need to go to the caravan salon site and register to become a member then book your camping and show tickets at discounted rates.

Make sure you go to the top bar and click "english"

Parking area takes 2000 vans you have to book online. I don't think booking opens until July.
Join Caravan Salon Club, its free, gives discounts on camping and sometimes on the show, you have to do each registration seperately if there are two of you.

There are shuttle busses running from the parking to the show halls then on the evening these same busses run into the centre of Dusseldorf for an evening in town.

That sounds really good, we were hoping to use it as a stop off near the start of a trip away for a few weeks. I don't think I've ever been to Dusseldorf.

Well worth a few days stop to look around but don’t do the river trip as not very good.
If you like a bit a nice steak this place is in the town and very good.

Do turn up with enough Water and Grey/Black waste tank/cassette space for whilst your there, you could be parked a Km from the one service point and though it takes a number of MH’s it’s seriously busy so difficult to get on and you could actually be trapped in when they park you up which is normal when busy.
