Just rejoined after a short break. We have recently purchased an Autotrail Savannah, 3 lt automatic
which has been uprated to 4600k. It has Dunlop air assist suspension and cannot find any instructions
on this system. Can anyone advise on the psi/bar ball park figure assuming it’s fully laden. Also can
this be done with a foot or bicycle pump and is this a simple exercise.

It can be done with a bike pump dont go below 20psi as can cause damage to the air bags if i remember correctly I used to run mine at 60psi but had a 3850kg

I would suggest circa 3 bar. Inflate with bicycle or car pump. With both valves as shown I think they are both open, so hopefully both sides will pump up together.
When done shut valves or when you compress one side air will move to the other bellows.
You can check pressure by opening one valve at a time, if you open both together you will not know if you have a leak in one side.

If you look down the bottom of this page we now get a list of other threads on the same subject👍

Those valve's are open in your picture, make sure that you turn the valve 90degrees to close them off before driving to isolate each bag

Close the valves before driving and you can use them for basic levelling on site by adjusting each side up or down.

To deflate, open the valve you need to drop and press in the valve if you don't have a compressor with a deflate button

3 bar for a van your size would be about the right pressure, maybe a little more or less depending on axle load. These are not designed to actually lift the rear, although you can briefly, say to get on or off a ferry ramp. Don't drive with them over or under pressure or you will ruin the bags or plastic fittings

Many thanks for all your advice. Have now inflated to 3.5 bar and closed the valves. The van looks a lot more level. Haven’t driven it yet but some adjustment may be necessary.
Thanks again everyone.
