One of my trusty 10 year old Dukdalf chairs has finally gone to the scrapheap, although not for long as someone claimed it for some form of recycling within 30 minutes.
Anyway of I go to replace it with a new one. After 4 hours of searching, it seems non are available in or near Benidorm, so have bought a Crespo extra wide high back recliner. I hope it lasts as long as the old Dukdalf. It should last for ever at 130 Euros .

We were planning to look for recliners at Peterborough, don't know if anyone is selling anything there but looking online at Lafuma and other decent stuff is putting me off already.

We were thinking of getting rid of our dulkdalf chairs, they are the extra large width, with clip on foot rest. They are just a bit bulky for our storage options.
Might be for sale at Peterborough. They are about 5 years old.

My storage is not too generous but worth a look if you have them onboard.

We got a bargain when we got Dukdalf second hand 2 chairs and foot stools £50, but I bent my dukdalf the other day, and we also went out and got a couple of Crespo chairs with footrests, but look on the bright side Dave they come with a 4 year guarantee. :Rofl1:  Bob.

They always come up on ebay. Or they will ship them direct to you for no extra charge

One of the reasons I insist on quality chairs is that mine get more use in 1 year than most get in 10. Not being the energetic type I spend a good part of my life contemplating in my chair, damned hard work it is too.

Greetings,

SWMBO's DukDalf tried to get itself thrown in the bin twice by 'springing' the rivet on the front cross brace.

I stopped the Bu**er by putting three rivets in on the third repair!!!:thumb:

Am so pleased with the comfort factor of the Crespo chair I went out yesterday and bought the footrest. Its longer than the Dukdalf one and makes a really good lounger. I cannot understand how they get a price of 130 Euros for a camping chair and 36 Euros for the foootrest though. Am just wondering if I will need extra insurance cover now .
