Hi all.
A quick question (the manual is in the motorhome)
On my 2008 Ducato there is a button on the lock barrel where the key is inserted.
I must admit I’ve just noticed it, had the motorhome about 4 months!

I think I read somewhere on Fun that if you press it and turn the key back beyond the insertion position in the ‘wrong’ direction and then remove the key it leaves the auxiliaries on so for instance the radio can be used etc.

Is this correct..............

According to the manual it turns the parking lights on.

@Gellyneck Thank you. I would never have guessed. I operated it from the inside in the daylight so would not have seen any lights.
Will check it when I next make a visit.
I note it’s nit a feature of newer Ducati’s.

Believe the ignition barrel \ functionality might have changed around the end of 2008 \ early 2009.

Yes - I believe on later Ducatos operating the backwards switch isolated all the electrics. It did on a friends '12 registered van.
