Ducato 6 speed Gearbox syncro hubs

My Bürstner year 2020 9,000 miles needs new syncro hubs 4th / 5th. It's still within warranty but any experiences?

Mines 2017 with 21,000 no problems

Never heard of that fault before, unusual on a modern gearbox not like the 60's when stripping down the Morris Minor box to replace the synchro springs was common.

The plot thickens....the dealer's mechanic drove it and agreed there was a problem. A couple of weeks later the van went in for a service and a different guy drove it and agreed it needed parts which they put on order. Next 100 mile trip down the A1 the symptoms disappeared. Dealer phoned to say the parts were in. The mechy was stumped! As things stand the gearbox seems fine.
