We have a small Autotrail tracker ek . Above the small pull out canopy is a 300 mm long awning rail. The rail is 275 mm from ground. Want to buy a driveway awning and am being drawn towards a Vango Kela 4 or 5? Says it needs 248 mm of kador to fit so assume my awning rail is sufficient? Tall version of the same does up to 290 mm height. Airbeam technology is new to us. Only want to buy once so thought we would ask you very helpful peeps on here for your thoughts suggestions and experience? Is it up to the job?

do you mean 3 metres and 2.75 metres?

We went for the Vango Galli Compact this year which has air beam tech, but the main difference being it lines up along our van and the door opening faces the same way as our rear doors. Our thinking was that with many pitches, a side opening awning means you might often be sat looking straight into your neighbours pitch....and we'd also rather be facing the same way as our rear doors open.

The air beam tech worked ok - it stood up to 40mph winds in the peak district ok - you do need to make sure its pegged properly and the vents are open especially overnight or you can occasionally get condensation forming around the base of the air beam inside the awning - only a issue if you're sleeping in it without an inner tent though really.
Overall very happy with quality and speed to put up (10-15 mins max)

See why you asked Big 1! Daft me can’t get me head around those foreign measurements! I still think in pounds shillings and pence ! Ernesto your Galli compact seems like a contender too. Nice to hear reassurance re wind and air beam etc.
