This arrived BEFORE the time they said they had tried to deliver, didn't know Dr.Who had a new job.

Driver running late they enter it as tried to deliver & say they left a card even though they haven't been within a couple of miles of your house. Had it a couple of times with DPD.

me too , I live on a farm SO I’ve had it more than once

I watched one stop at our entrance, then Drive away , 4 minutes later got the message saying , tried to deliver but no one home ! , I got on the phone & created hell , I made them come back with it that day ( delivered by a different driver ) , it took a lot of argument to achieve this

Looks similar to a Royal Mail e.msil I had a few days ago. They had supposedly tried to deliver a large envelope from HMRC , I would have to pay £1.99 for it to be delivered. But then they would have my card details.

Be careful the Royal Mail have the itchy finger brigade employed again.
My wife's new driving licence was intercepted by some bum involved with our so called ROYAL Mail.
She has now had her identity cloned and many strange things are happening with her ID details.
This is a common practice around here and not the first time we've had mail/parcels stolen.
Complaining on deaf ears as usual. At least they didn't blame covid.

My daughter worked for DPD for a while and did one Christmas as a supervisor in their call centre. She walked out because they were beyond incompetent and standard policy was to lie to customers. They were so far behind with deliveries that a temporary rented warehouse/sorting centre was overflowing and some parcels had been there weeks with no attempt to deliver

The worst item to go missing was mobile phones, even though they were tracked door to door officially

How did you manage that, last time it happened to me no way could I find a phone number for them & their web messaging was useless.

I can believe that, this one had one of those odd looking e-mail addresses though.

The posties here are very good, but it's the hands things pass through that can be a problem.
I don't think they are fussy about who they employ.

I got one from Royal Mail saying that they attempted to deliver a recorded letter from HMRC and that I should click the link to arrange the redelivery? Our postie confirmed it was bo##@cks but added that an elderly couple in the next village fell for it......
