My new motorhome has the habitation door on the other side. Are there any disadvantages for camping in the UK with this configuration i.e. getting water when arriving at campsite?

I've been to pretty much sole CaMC sites and east fleet (non CaMC) was the first one to ask me about door location and told me which way to park based on that.. ALL the other sites you are handed a pictorial showing MH reversed onto pitch with post on offside so you can see it in your drivers mirror. To be honest, if the view was good then the windscreen got that direction and to bollocks with the "official" direction ?Most but not all C&MC sites require you to pitch up with the nearside front close to the peg.
On C&MC sites, you can park either way round, i.e. NSF or OSR to the peg. The choice is yours, whether continental or UK handed 'van.
Not our experience - caravans yes as they need to be towed away Incase of a fire. Most but not all C&MC sites require you to pitch up with the nearside front close to the peg.
and the fact the van has windows on all sides, so if one wanted to peer one wouldn't be peering at the doorway anyway.I sort of get the "park near the peg" request, to maintain the spacing, whether its for fire or not.
But to insist on which way round as well to avoid no door-to-door is ludicrous. Its a campsite and I'm not interested in peering through anyones door - and I seriously doubt anyone else would want to peer into mine....so to speak
Well while parking on sites ( not that I have ) I thought it was the done thing that you park up with Hab doors not facing each other ? So if you all got to park nose in , or reserve in ,doors will be facing each other if you have continentalp set up ? Thus invading privacy issues ?Good for you. Not sure why you felt the need to post in this thread though?
