Dometic RMD 8555 no power

We have the above unit. Works on all 3 heat sources but intermittent. Think ribbon connector at rear of control panel is problem, not a firm fit. When centre of panel tapped fridge comes to life for a while then cuts out again, as in goes dark. Anyone else had a similar problem and what was the solution please?

Moisture may have got behind the panel. Remove it and air it for a bit, then replace.

Thanks Lisa, yes we have done this also added petreum jelly to plug to keep moisture out and worked for about 30 hours. Suspect fem contacts on 14 way ribbon connector, as plug is very easy to get on and off. Have ordered new plugs to see if it fixes prob.
