My 3year old fridge freezer has during my present trip, had a couple of problems. First when a gas bottle ran out, the blue led error lights went out but everything else worked normally until today when the "Auto" switch defaulted to 'Battery' which I luckily spotted but not before the Gel leisure battery was down to 7%. Here in Andalusia there is a lot of sun so after running the engine for a while the Solar panel should help.
Has anyone else had similar problems and is there a reset for the led lights?

Press the triangle at the right hand end that does a reset.
If you want to disable the fridge from running on hab batteries pull the AES fuse in the EBL.

If its a 3 way fridge it will not work off 12v unless engine is running or shouldn't do.

They do on Hymer’s ?

I am yet to work out why it would be a feature though, but first noticed when you turn ignition off it stays on 12V and can also be manually selected at any time

I will check my van (Dethlefs) at the weekend but that's a bit worrying though i did notice it was on battery when away last week when we first stopped, I assumed after 15 minutes it would switch to gas and if gas did not light it would just fail and as Lenny HB says just press the triangle to reset.

Hi they are made to stop on 12v for about 10 mins after engine stops to allow fuel filling before reverting to gas

After the 15min if no gas or mains it will carry on running from the hab battery, unless you pull the AES fuse.

I will try and remember to check at the weekend.

In my case it was not until I happened to check the battery which showed just 7% on leisure battery. Panic! Then discovered auto fridge had defaulted to battery and the auto button was off. Forced it to go to gas then I was able to use auto button again.
Thanks Lenny, I will try a reset using triangle button.
Sorry for slow response but internet very much slower.
