Hello,

we have a old mazda 1990 motorhome with Dometic RM2355 three way fridge (2009). A week ago suddenly the fridge stopped cooling (I would say not completely since its between 10 and 15 degrees in this heat and the shelves are cold to the touch) but the freezer works perfectly. The fridge was always around 2-5 degrees even on hot days like this so that is not the problem. We checked the door seals and the connections in the back but all of that seems fine. We’ve found a video on youtube of a guy trying to adjust the temperature with the thermistor and explaining that thats what the fridge does when the thermistor dies. We did measure it with a multimeter but it works just fine. There are no leaks and the gas pipes are nice and warm. In all of the videos the little white thermistor cable looks to be attached in some way to the metal in the back. That is supposed to be the way to adjust the temperature but our fridge has no stickers or indicators to support that. Initially we found the thermistor just hanging down at the bottom of the fridge so we thought that was the problem (to be quite frank that was the first time we even noticed it so have no idea if it was there to begin with) but no matter how high or low we clip it on the metal grate thing (sorry I have no idea about fridges) nothing changes. We even put it back in the same position it was the first time we found it but nothing changes. Again the freezer works perfectly fine, exactly like it was before both on gas and plugged in.
thanks for your time:)
