Are there any flashing lights on the control panel and if so which indicator/s are flashing ? (Do you know which model Dometic fridge you have, there should be a label inside of the fridge)

Model no RMDT 8505
There are two lights. Blue every thing ok and next to that a red light flashes and it beeps
If I turn all other power drains off like heating water etc it seems to run a bit but with other stuff drawing power it doesn't seem to like that

Right now with no other power source on it is running but Im pretty sure it will start red light flashing soon

Cheers
Graham

Where are you getting your power from?

is it definitely a good 240v supply. Some sites the supply can be poor, so fridge keeps switching on to electric then off, as it senses poor power.

Is it possible , as Landy Andy has said, that the power supply is too low as that could account for the bleeping (every 20 secs) and flashing light. The Dometic manual says this will happen if - 230v not available or voltage too low
Does it work ok on gas ?

It could well be the supply. Im on a site.
Gas works fine
It does seem the lower the draw like now nothing else on it has held for an hour
Maybe this is a particular sensitive fridge

If the supply is poor why are the caravans around me not having the same issue

One last question the two 80 amp hour agm batterys are knackered.
Will this affect the consistency of supply as I guess the charger is trying to do its best

If I unplug the electric supply the batterys go to 11.7 and obviously they should be max being charged on hook up for a week

Im going to swap out soon for lithium etc with other charge up grades but that's a month away

Thanks

GB

Have you another EHU lead you could try in case the problem is with the cable/connections ,also is it possible to try another plug in post to see if the supply to just your post is low.
Maybe the other caravans have smaller fridges which need less power ?
Cant help regarding batteries / charger, but hopefully someone else may be able to help.

I have checked the actual voltage of EHU on several sites, and sometimes it has been as low as 210v. Presumably due to long cable runs of insufficient thickness shared by too many. This is enough to cause many fridges to play up.
