Our 6 year old dometic 8505 has some corrosion on the 12v pcb connector, not the 12v supply for the 12v element. After cleaning as well as I can, I need to protect against furthur corrosion. It is worse on wired plug than the pcb. Had thought to fill plug with silicon grease. Do not want to use vaseline as it melts at around 40 deg C.
Any other suggestions?
Also, the blue lamp to signify on, only works after pressing buttons, does not stay on full time. Fridge works ok on all 3 sources. Any thoughts?

I used to use silicon grease in the plug caps and distributor leads of my mini, it would run underwater if it had a snorkel:LOL:
