I am arranging for a Vodafone S5 tracker to be fitted to my new Adria Twin as a requirement from insurance company. This is being done by a 3rd party, trackershop-uk.com. They are Thatcham approved installers.

I just wonder if this would affect any warranty claims if there were ever any issues with the elctrical system being claimed under the vehicle warranty. i.e. could Fiat claim that as the electrical system was tampered with that the warranty is void?

It shouldn't affect the warranty as it's being professionally fitted, however IMV that is an expensive tracker especially with the cost of the monitoring. We paid £199 for our Smartrack Protector Pro Global fully installed plus £399 for lifetime monitoring (ie whilst we own the vehicle) although this has gone up now to £499 as it was on offer when we got it.
