Wales are allowed to reopen from 29 Mar. However, only for those who live in Wales. (Don’t shoot messenger) so assume they could be open from their “normal season “ time. When that is I don’t know to be honest. I have just tried to make a booking and was bombed out so looks like they’ve disabled that facility. Soz, not as helpful as I want to be.

Can you explain "open" or where this info is pelase, I just tried searching but found nothing useful as ever

It's ironic - it's not an island and there are no shells 🤣
There are over 200 different shell species to be found, more so in the early spring after the winter tides,in late summer they have been reduced in number by the tides taking them out and shell collectors taking them home (y)
When you walk on the beaches take your sunglasses off.:cool:

To be honest I think I heard it on the news. However like you I have mooched about the internet and found this on the BBC. Caravan club sites can be open from 29th of March so assume that Shell Island will be following the change in rules.

anyone booked yet?

What's so good about it? It looks a shocking narrow lane to get there.

Its a lovely place if you get a quiet spot, gets somewhat cut off by the tide when it comes in.
can get rowdy with the BH crew but is easy to access the lanes arent a problem for my 7.5m van
