Have booked to visit the Emmerdale Experience in Burley Rd but puzzling over motorhome parking.
Presently fearing we might be best leaving the motorhome at the hotel!! and getting a taxi but asking the question in case Local Knowledge wins thru!
Kirkstall Rd has a weight limit but Burley rd is just opposite but has marked spaces. Question, where do the coaches park

Thanks for looking

Amazed that we have had no comments or suggestions. Premiere inn has just told us that the bar and diner will not be finished in time
For a birthday treat this is getting all the makings of a memorable trip
At least the details will all be in out MHF yearbook!
Great fun!

We were there last week but in a hotel, wife loves the shopping centre.

Are you staying in the hotel but travelling in your motorhome?

We live in York and apologies that I can't think of anywhere easy to park your vehicle in Leeds. You could come to York and park in any of the free park and rides and get a 25 minute train ride into Leeds but that seems a bit convoluted.

I see there are several park and rides for `Leeds if you search the internet - I would use those for sure

Well thanks
Carefully chose a hotel that advertised free parking, hoping we could nip off the emmerdalestudioexperience.co.uk after a decent breakfast and now they tell me all those bits are shut!
You couldn't make it up

Hi Mike, just seen your post re parking in Leeds to visit Emmerdale experience. I originate from Forest of Deen and Bristol but came to Leeds some 40years ago.
My advice would be to park your van at the hotel if possible.
I realise this advice may be to late.
We live within 4 miles of your visit if we can help while your here feel free to contact by PM.

Rex, thanks exactly what we needed to know.
I would much rather fork out for a taxi than get there to find the usual anti motorhome crap. Whether it's height barriers or marked bays and double tickets etc.
Or spoiling the visit worrying about a parking fine
Thanks again

We stayed at the Premier Inn on Wellington st a couple of years ago. The car park was charged, but we parked our PVC there with no issues. It is in walking distance of the Emmerdale studios and the city centre. Seem to remember that they didn’t do breakfast or dinner though there is a TGI Friday attached.

Hi
The area you describe is the old Yorkshire TV studios, apox 1 mile from town centre, the area is fairly industrial and there is plenty of parking. Would think most hotel parking is height restricted. When are you due to visit? I may be passing ares in coming week and will do a recy for you.
