Downsized to Bongo!

This was in our newly acquired Fleetwood. It has a nav system to die for, a 4 x50 watts hifi, and functions that many techies would kill for! All OTT for me really as all I want is a decent head unit with bluetooth. Apparently these were nearly 800 quid when first on the market! Swapsies anyone?

You raise a good question. I don't think you do need it. I certainly don't.

With a 10" tablet that I already own which displays Google Maps and all my infotainment apps, and a Bluetooth speaker which I can use inside and outside my motorhome, what use is that last century technology?

Personally I’d like a double DIN radio / display for the satnav. I use a phone which is okay but can use Apple/Google satnav via the phone in the car which has a 7” display which is much easier to see.

It is a decent head unit with Bluetooth…. Why would you swap it..?

Just leave it in there , if you're still on the Ducato speakers change them for these

I have a NX502e with the DAB adaptor, a good unit I bought it for the last van and transferred it over. I keep thinking about getting something better but 'er indoors not too keen on me spending loads more money on the van.

I'm afraid the "tech" is too old to interest "techies". You need Android Auto/Apple CarPlay to interest anyone these days. I'd keep it as a decent old school head unit with good sound quality.
