Looking for one
Hi all, hoping to take the leap and get a bouncy brick on wheels very soon!! desperate to be able to jump in the van and go without the hassle of getting my vintage (falling apart) caravan out and finding a site for it.
Very excited!! Not got a big budget so will be an older van....going to look for the area of the forum to ask advice on price on one I've seen so maybe you'll hear from me again somewhere.
Happy vanning!

Get one with the right gross train weight and get the best of both worlds!

Welcome aboard!

:hiya2: and I’m sure you’ll find there’s lots of help and advice here, as well as the transferable knowledge you have from tugging your white box around behind you 😜. I’m sure you’ll be able to share your thoughts to help others.
There’s really useful guides and resources, as hinted, weight is as big @ concern with a motorhome as with a caravan.

Welcome to Fun and motorhoming, and remember there's no such thing as a silly question - can't guarantee there won't be silly answers though 😂

Think it's got a payload of 532kg on that chassis

I'm in Brighton
We’re near Brighton and bought our first MH from 4Front on the A23 about 4yrs ago.
We had a very helpful salesman, but the manager/owner left a lot to be desired and I would avoid him.
We needed the warranty!
They do have a lot of stock so good to go and get a feel for the type of van/layout you prefer.

Great idea! Also can you recommend anyone who services/fixes MHs around here?

We’ve used Sunstore in Goring, they do have long waiting lists though, you need to book months in advance.
South Coast caravans in Hampshire are easy to book with but obviously a bit of a trek. (We have friends nearby so call in on them while the van is being sorted)

There are a few mobile people around but we’ve not yet tried them.

I'm lucky...the van will fit round the back of the house, with a careful bit of reversing and Mrs PB watching....but having it loaded and ready to go, as it is for the next run in May is a little bit special....either campsites booked or on the fly it's like a weekend as a kid with a bike....let's go and see where we end up.
