Two wheel job towed.

In the midst of Spring washing and polishing I noticed just how yellow some plastic trim had become so with a thorough degrease a tin of plastic primer and a tin of white paint it looks much better.
Also noticed on photos a bit grotty around handle so must do better.

Yellow plastic looks much better now but what about the excess white paint on the actual trim now?

Did you try any of the trim restoring chemicals available first? A friend did his caravan trims with Fenwicks (I think) and had great results.

Just seen one called cara clean that looks like it’s gets impressive results.

There is a little bleeding under the masking tape and when the east wind relents i will get down and remove it. Unfortunately I couldn’t remove the trim on the right so masked and painted in situ.

I too have seen the Cara-Clean product. It looks like just 100ml, so not sure how far that would go.

Has anyone tried it?

Sporting a nice "Hula" skirt on the back of the Hymer ;) :giggle:.
Do they help reduce that road grit laden spray up the back of the van?

Yes it does, I picked up the habit from owning RVs before which when towing helps reduce direct hits from rear wheels and reduces spray, oh and looks sexy  :blusher:
