After trying to not buy anymore of that expensive diesel in France knowing it's cheaper in Spain, we changed our route and going to the highest walled town in France we were running on fumes. 😯

Loads of snow when we stayed there last year, you are supposed to go to the tourist office to pay for the Aire, we couldn't find it but did try.

I tried 3 on my way to Bournemouth early yesterday morning and again on my way back in the afternoon after the van service in case they’d had deliveries but none had diesel and one had unleaded in the morning and two in the afternoon. I currently have enough to get to Highlands End tomorrow but not home. I’m really glad there’s no longer a problem with supplies locally!

Bleeding hell Bob that black arm band is going to be on for a while:giggle: Has Jannie got over it yet? Still I suppose you could do with living on Dandelions and Nettles for awhile, every cloud and all that.

When the lorry drivers were causing chaos years ago, I was tipping on a farm down the west country, and said to the farmer I was nearly out of diesel and hopefully be able to get some on the way home, not many garages would let lorries have any. 🙂
He said there's a tank full there help yourself, 🤔 I said how Red is it 😯 I think it was about 30p a litre Cash. 😁 Bob.

Perpetual newbie
If you want to travel where diesel prices are reasonable, stay out of Sweden - it's seems we're the best at yet another thing noone wants to be in the elite division of - fuel prices, diesel will soon reach 20 SEK or just short of €2 per litre and petrol is closing in on 18 SEK. Life's good in the north, but I'd recommend Denmark or Norway - both are amazing countries well worth going to!
