I made 2 books last week, it is a requirement of the booking you add evening meal at the Explorers Restaurant and breakfast for arrival. The a al carte restaurant is closed and the buffet is limited to a number of options with the staff delivering it to your table. Free breakfast as part of the Commodore de luxe cabin has also been removed. Not sure why as you still need to book breakfast, cannot work that one out!
Booking system seems to have changes as well. You no longer input the length of your vehicle, you select "motorhome" and you are given the options of Small or Medium. The later covers anything up to 4m x 10m.
The second booking I made for November was an incredible price of 80GBP for the crossing and that's with the supplement for being in excess of the 10m. The cheapest cabin was 69GBP meaning you could have got the crossing for 149GBP. We opted for our usual Commodore deluxe because we like the comfort and during current times unlikely to leave the cabin very often other than to eat.
