Dettol

Is there any problem with putting Dettol down the sink to help with gray waste smells ?

Is it effective?

Can it do any harm?

I don't think think Dettol would do much apart from making your m/h smell like a minor injuries clinic because it's an antiseptic not an anti-bacterial treatment.

put some water in your sink and what some bio washing tabs in it, let them melt and suck it down,
then there is puraclean etc etc. I find the washing tabs effective, the same as you throw in the cassette.

I prefer Zoflora lemon.
It will disinfect the crud on the bottom of the tank and it smells lovely.

I use dishwasher tablets to clean out the crud on the bottom of the tank
