Delayed recovery due to emission zone.

After my recent diesal leak, I had to be recovered from secure parking by Green Flag, to be taken from Great Notley to Romford, the problem was the recovery company contracted by green flag who were unaware of where they were taking me as Green Glag never asked. The driver informed me that he could not take me to destination as unable to enter London emmission zone which starts inside the M25. He therefore drops me off at a layby near the M25. I have to wait there for two and half hours, before next lorry turns up, the driver informs me that he had queeried the job as he was stuck on a job in croydon. The point of my post being to remind people to tell green flag where you want to go so that possibly the right person for the job may be sent.

I wonder if GF are doing like the AA.... Only working each agents area then a different agent takes you to the edge of theirs and so on.

As private agents for the major clubs we only ever did single journey recoveries.... The longest was Scarborough to Inverness and return in one trip.
That was when recovery trucks were exempt from driver hours though.
Just before the exemption ended he had the foresight to sell the business.
