Getting there!
I'm not bothered about the quality of service I just need the order reference number for the Passenger Locator Form. I have been looking for the cheapest test - best so far -

£28 - https://www.expert-medicals.co.uk/collections/navigation for a home kit. I did find £20 for a drive through but the test centre was too far away from me.

Anyone found a better price? Most of them seem to be £40 - £80 for this service.

Expert medicals charge £7.99 for postage, so actually £36.
They also have terrible reviews.
I went with Randox Health which are £43 with postage, £7 dearer but seem to be a good company. My 2 day tests came in a couple of days.

I’ve been looking for my Missus who has to fly to U.K. next week, hadn’t seen that one, but defo the cheapest!
…….like you, I don’t really give a toss about the service ( unlike I did for the previous trip requiring quarantine) 😜
…..showed £0 for shipping👍

We did ours with expert medicals last Friday, placed in one of their 24 hr collection points Frid afternoon, mine came back negative on Tuesday, not heard a thing about my wife's.
Not worried at all just getting on with what we had planned, having said that I wouldn't trust them if I needed one to catch a flight out etc, mostly a money making exercise!!

Also heard of several people that never bothered doing them after returning, but they hadn't been back long and who knows if anyone will ever check.

I've ordered from expert medicals -. £28 Inc delivery. I've had an email from DPD saying they are going to deliver my package. Not needed till 1st September.

Mine was free postage as well.

Good find Al Bondigas . No postage on mine and assume it is free postage to return as well so less than we paid for the antigen test to come back.

They're on my doorstep as well (if we don't get a result)!

Daughter jusf come back from ten days working in Greece. Bloke knocked on the door checking she was isolating so watch out.

We used expert medical and all was ok with them, and service.

I've just looked up Expert Medical. Their form has two questions (as below)
Date you last departed from or transited through a country/territory outside the common travel area? (If not relevant, leave blank)

Country/Territory you travelled from when entering the UK, and any country or territory you transited through as part of that journey? (if there's more than one, separate with a comma)

I want to order these before we go but it sounds as if the questions are tobe completed when we have returned. How did other people get round this? What answers did you give? Can I book before we travel so tests are waiting for us on return?
thanks

We didn't answer those questions as they are NOT asterisked.

I would just answer “France “ on second question, if you feel you should something, but it’s not required.

The more important questions will be on you PLF

I take it your daughter hasnt been double jabbed, coz Greece is an amber country and if double jabbed no need to quarantine. Just follow same rules as green.

..... Can I book before we travel so tests are waiting for us on return?
thanks
You need to book them in advance as you have to enter the order number on the UK Passenger Locator Form when you return. I ordered mine last week, to be at my home when I return on 1st September. I ignored the first of those questions, as not applicable, and put Belgium, France for the second

Question please for the people who used expert medical , did your 2 day test kit come as soon as you ordered it or do they send it out nearer the time you are arriving back in the uk. thanks ordered mine on the 13th but nothing has come yet but I do have my ref number for the PLF.

I decided not to use expert medical and went with eurofins as they have a drop box just down the road. A little more expensive but good reviews as opposed to Expert whose reviews are terrible..
For those that used Expert successfully great but I wasn't prepared to take that risk.

I have since had 2 emails from DPD saying they will deliver the kits, once they receive them from Expert Medicals. I'm just hoping they arrive!

I really don't care how good or bad they are - I just need the cheapest way of get the reference number for the Passenger Locator form. Ideally they will be terrible and I'll claim my money back as I did last time with Abihealthcare....

I'll do some of the free lateral flow tests I get from the local chemists when I return so I know the test has actually been looked at!

I wasn't attempting t answer your question

I will shut up then

24 posts of how we can get it done on the cheep or illegally avoid it altogether yet not a single mention of why these tests are mandatory.
Why do you think these tests are necessary?
If the tests are not being completed by the companies that are being paid ridiculous amounts of money then there is no point whatsoever.
As I said earlier it is simply a money making exercise wit no control or checks.

Erm……to make loads of money for these providers who are backed by the government, and doubtless many are owned by or who have shareholders who happen to be MP’s, maybe?😜
So yours will be a big no BD, we don't need to be tested on returning from medium risk areas, even if other variants are more prominent and social distancing has been none existent for the duration of our stay.😇

Neither do I.

Why are they then? apart from making money for someone?
Why do you think these tests are necessary?
I don't? Not many other countries require them & those that do are tardy in ensuring anyone does?🤷‍♂️
