Hi Guys,
No, it's not me, it's Heidi (Hymer B544, 1990 on a Talbot base).
She came in to our lives about two months ago and nothing has been quite the same since.
Heidi had been conscientiously maintained and kitted out with various off-grid features like two solar panels, a water filtration system and back-up generator, but original features intact.
She has taken us on a marvellous adventure through six countries (5000 miles) in the last six weeks.
But, as you guys will know, 'adventures' means challenges and collateral damage. Most things we've dealt with and learned from (the front tyre blow out on a Motorway and the starter string coming off the generator?), but for some issues Heidi is going to need help from you guys, experienced accomplished owners and experts, not enthusiastic amateurs like us.
It was while we were getting the blow tyre fixed, that some uncharitable person STOLE Heidi's locking bonnet!
We've tried breakers yards and parts websites with no luck.
Can someone point us in the right direction? So that Heidi doesn't have to look like a boxer with her front teeth missing...
Look forward to hearing your solutions.

Hello and welcome. What is a locking bonnet? A pic of what your van looks like with it missing might be helpful.

Oh the catch that keeps the bonnet locked?
