This may not help but if the ATM asks if you want to be charged in Sterling or the local currency always choose Sterling. Revolut is better than that, you can choose when to buy your chosen country. I bought some Euros at €1.20 earlier this year and then bought some more at €1.19 a few weeks ago, if you re changing today you will only get €1.17.With a fee free credit card you get today's bank rate on all payments without any charges.
