Starting to plan our summer holiday😀
Off to Croatia for 3wks and although we have a fantastic Sat Nav in the van I like to plan using an old fashioned map.
Can anyone recommend a large scale map for this area.
Many thanks

Map recommendations ? but our route was down the motorway to the end (toll but not expensive). Our return was up the coast road, beautiful and don’t be in a hurry. No wild camping allowed in Croatia but many camp sites On the way. Make sure you visit some less known areas, Ston, for instance. A route via Venice and Lake Bled in Slovenia is well worth it.

Snap just what we were planning this wet Saturday morning. Been to Croatia couple of times and love it

One advantage by visiting Croatia is that if you wish ,you can stay as long as you like. Not tied to 90 days!

Might see you there?

I use an online company called Dash4it. Usually get a good discount by using a code from CAMC. This is their Croatia page
Edit: JANSALE10 Might work if you haven’t got CAMC membership

I think we have decided Slovenia so will take up options of Croatia.

I created a map (computer generated for Germany last year) which shared all the attractions, decent aires, campsites, cheap vineyards, viewpoints and luges and beaches that sort of thing.

I will probably create a Slovenia one which quite prepared to share again and could include Croatia and I will add up a bit of Southern Austria.

If interested in receiving the map (which you can update yourselves) for all to share then tick "like" for this post and i will contact you in a week or 2 when it is ready. I think you need a gmail account.

That's sounds great, we may be able to go for up to 5 wks in the summer so hope to take in Slovakia.
Once covid is under control our priorities will change with a greater emphasis on enjoying life and family.
Safe travels to you all.

Toured 2 years ago on my motorcycle using Google maps and found it worked well, I had no plans and enjoyed plotting my route each evening over the excellent Croatian wine. Try not to miss Plitvice National Park lakes, dedicated motorhome parking, allocate a day to explore the breathtaking blue waters.

My 'go to' maps are Michelin, they have the info regarding width of roads which is very handy.
