Crash near York, really sad news

Absolutely tragic for everyone concerned, mental scars for the survivors will surely endure and it must have been pretty gruesome for the emergency services.

I've been down the A64 twice, passed the scene this morning about 9am and midday, had no idea until I heard it on the radio, so 3 lives are just wiped away and life carries on

Oh, do I feel for the poor man. Losing a partner and two children is horrific and I regret he will probably never come to terms with it. I know something about it having lost my wife in an RTC 13 years ago; the pain subsides but never goes away. His world has stopped for now as everybody else’s carries on.

Very sad. Just returned from a 1000+ mile trip to Scotland and never seen so many motorhomes on the road and it makes one wonder how many are new to the lifestyle. RIP Mum and children.

I’ve just read the hgv was parked up , driver was having his rest break and a grey Motorhome went in to the back of him. The poor poor family.
