I'm new to it
Hi we are due to travel via Plymouth to Roscoff on the ferry next Monday and was wondering will we still be asked to show our Covid passes ?
Reason i ask is that my wife is still registered at her doctors and the NHS in her maiden name ( we've only been married 20 years !!! ) and its proving difficult to download the corvid passport as her details on her passport don't match with her NHS number. We have rang the doctors and sent the relevant documents today via email ( Passport & marriage certificate ) but it can take 7 days to change over and then we have a day or so wait to re apply on the app for it to be verified. Im thinking of changing our departure date to a week Thursday to give us a little more time.

Up to now , nothing has been decided by the French government... they are all far too busy with some other political priorities.
Hopefully next Monday you should manage without any Covid pass (pass sanitaire via app TousAntiCovid).
I will add that just in case make sure you have proof of your previous jabs if any and make sure you have masks as they are more and more required in places such as pharmacies, supermarkets, museums etc... Towns can decide what they want with masks. At the moment it's just : "le port du masque est recommandé" .

If any news you will find them here:

Currently no passes are required to be seen whilst out and about in France, but when you did we never had more than a cursory glance at it and some times not even the correct one before letting us in/on/through. All very French, so I wouldn’t worry.

My post was deleted as being rude and offensive. I think a sense of humour failure. The clue was in the title which has since been corrected. But hey ho!

My humorous one was too as Jim edited the title and post, so no longer valid. Not bothered about the deletion as it helps keep the thread on the intended topic. Taking the pee out of a mis-spelling of a word is not appreciated, the same as correcting grammar. I for one appreciate the effort that Jim goes to to keep the tone of the forum nice and friendly
