I’m from Yorkshire and £122 for an indicator stalk is a lot of money. I don’t believe it costs that much to produce - it’s bound to be made in China by some poor bugger on a pittance. Can’t exactly not have it though 😬
Oh and the warranty doesn’t cover it either, what a surprise

Presumably you have looked on ebay for copy replacement part? I needed new gear knob recently - about £80 from Fiat dealer. £13 on ebay and fits perfectly

just been on now, lots wanting over £25 for delivery 😬 but yes might find one on there with any luck

I know how you feel, my Truma 4E packed up on mains so ordered a new set of elements. The cost was astronomical <Broken link removed>
especially when you consider this
and then of course there was a further £180 for the gasket set.
Talk about rip off :(

If it’s a Renault base, mine failed after 4years on my work van, loads of cheep Chinese copies on eBay, I ended up paying the £120 for genuine as I had comeback if faulty. Did try striping the old one down to try and fix but loads of nasty little plastic bits. I bought to many Chinese copies in the past and ended up bining them. Didn’t bother with secondhand as seams a common part to brake.
