I'm after a site with ehu that is within walking distance of a good pub / restaurant in Cornwall for mid November, any suggestions?

Hellesveor is open all year round, nice little site, mainly hardstanding, about 1 mile walk into St Ives - plenty of good pubs/restaurants & best time of year to visit. Just off the SW Coast Path so great walks & coastal views.

Churchtown Farm at Gwithian. Right in the dunes on St Ives Bay near Hayle. Red River Inn is a couple of minutes walk away and is dog friendly. Call 01736 753219 for site bookings.

That was my first thought but it looks like it closes end of October.

I should have thought of that. It is very grassy for winter use. Just love it there for the dog.
Mid November will see the majority of sites in Cornwall closed. If lack of EHU isn’t a deal breaker the options are much better e.g. Willow Car Park in Mevagissey - level site, nearby public toilet, short stroll to pubs, restaurants and harbour, about £9 I think.

Polmanter has a fabulous pub a few minutes walk from the campsite, also has a decent restaurant on site, about 20 mins walk into St Ives.

Ayr used to be a fabulous site, as you say stunning views out to sea, sadly it only has one toilet block which gets muddy and full of grass when the campers from the grass pitches tramp it all in.
We went there for 15 years on the run and the prices just kept increasing but the site suffered after Dave the manager died.
On our last visit one of the showers was out of action when we arrived, three weeks later when we left the shower still hadn't been sorted a poor reflection from how it used to be.
