Hi all I plan to head from South Wales valleys down to explore Cornwall I’m after a guide on route and places to stop for a night and move onto another place I will be in my ford chasson with my wife and puppy .We have two weeks off end of June into July

Personally I wouldn’t go near the place until November..but Id go back like a shot Again this winter.

stayed a bunch of places from Park4night and on a really good site - Trevarrian Holiday Park (and the equally excellent Travellers Rest pub close by..) just north of Newquay. A lot of places were closed when I was there in December.
Stop off at Rosies Cafe in Bude - you can stay in their car park overnight for a modest fee- and treat yourself to a ‘Messy Chips’ mmmmm If you can eat it all you will be doing well!
Another great stop was Pra Sands. Right at the beach outside a great pub serving good food.

Love Cornwall, need to explore Devon..

I don’t think restrictions will be lifted until end of July/August, bad timing I’m afraid.

Just being realistic, we were planning another trip to Cornwall this summer (or possibly Devon) but unfortunately can’t see it happening. Don’t get me wrong I’d love it if we could but just can’t see it during the summer months the way things are.

So lets be positive if there still are no restriction i would suggest the following as you drive round from wales.

damage barton Woolacombe
Wooda farm at bude, nice restaurant and bar on site
Trewethett farm caravan club at tintagel
Mother ivy bay at padstow lovely private beach
Crantock touring park near newquay surrounded by national trust
St agnes caravan club
At that rime of year it will be busy, so book as you go.
