- Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
I've been adding USB ports to the hab area of our elderly Swift Kon-Tiki, some on the hab battery for wild camping & some on 240v to make sure that we're sorted wherever we are.
Today I installed a new USB port to the cab area. There are already two USB points on the radio, but only one is a charger & in this day of phones sat-nags & all sort of other gadgets, I thought I'd add a dedicated USB point on the dash.
It's all properly wired in through the fuse box & I think it looks very smart?
These points which I've added are just cheapo Chinese items, but apart from one hole for the wire, they're flush fitting, so they are ridiculously easy to fit.

& in the hab area. Go on, fit some, you know you want to?
