Beginners, got Doggy the van - March 2014
I have 4.5T AutoTrail MoHo with Continental Vanco Camper 225/75 R16 116R CP.
Hard to fine (now in Bulgaria then Romania & Croatia.
Did Continental stop making them?

Recommendations for replacement two front Tyers please.

They still make then as far as I know.
But I changed to decent quality correct size van tyres with the correct load rating.
Has made a huge difference to ride quality.

will do although load rating higher?

And just to throw petrol on the fire of an associate to this thread.
ie. What should my tyre pressures be?
Yesterday, a DHL van was parked beside us in a car park.
It was a MB Sprinter. It was shod in Continentals.
Alongside the front tyre was a sticker saying '44psi' On the back panel by the wheel arch was '65psi'.

If you have Conti’s and axle weights speak to Conti tech dept, they are very helpful. I usually run around 4 bar all round to allow for max weight and mine (Sprinter 316 based) runs well 👍

Higher load rating will probably allow you to reduce tyre pressures.
If you know your actual axle weights when loaded look up the conti Web site there is a table to look up for tyre, size and weights.

PS. I have Toyo observe van winter tyres on mine all year. Slightly higher load rating.
Gives smooth ride and good grip, although they will wear quicker than the conti campers I had previously.

Continental stopped producing Vanco2 tyres a while ago, these were the tyre fitted to our MH by either Chausson or Ford. I was very pleased with them at 8 years old / 40,000 miles still had 6mm tread left. Continental tech dept advised me for 3.3B all round after we weighed the MH on a weighbridge and supplied the actual figures.

Now fitted Continental VancoCamper and so far equally pleased and they run quieter also.
