Comfort breakdown insurance

Am I right in saying /thinking comfort M/C assistance use the AA for breakdown service . I remember a thread on forum but can’t seem to find . And as anyone used it in the U.K.? .

Yes they do, both UK and Europe I believe. We are 8.7m, 5700kg so have to call them first and they contact the AA on our behalf. Used them in France last year for dead battery, local garage with large breakdown truck arrived within 30 mins. Great service.

I broke down in France in March, it was a local hgv recovery company that recovered me. They were out within an hour but it took them a couple of hours to free off the brakes so it could be recovered, the guy who came out was quite young and was ringing his boss for advice so probably a bit inexperienced.

I’m with comfort. Sadly I’ve used it twice in the last month. I’m 9.25m long, 3.35m high and 7.3T weight. The AA just get specialist sub contractors in for these vehicles.
