CO2 and firealarms (1 Viewer)

Not really sure if this is the right thread to post but as CO2 and firealarms are to do with safety and security I thought I’d give it a try and ask what do you recommend, what have you got fitted and where is the best place to buy. Over to the experts!

I assume you mean carbon monoxide detectors (CO not CO2).

You don't have to spend a lot, we've got the smaller version and have fitted them on a panel just above our fridge which is the nearest to the cooker/boiler we could get them. When looking for a fire alarm best to get one with a 'silence' button for when you burn the toast! :giggle:

Ah yes! I did mean CO, thanks for pointing that out Minxy, senior moment there! I our other motor homes and caravan, I think I paid about £22 for a Fireangel CO detector from B&Q, I have just got home from a visit to B&Q and the only ones they have are so-called “Smart” detectors that start at £50 !
