Mrs C wants to clean the upholstery in the new van (C-Tourer) and wants know how you clean the suede type fabric on the seats and bed covers.

It’s the plain beige material on the top section of the seats.

Can she use regular VAX fabric cleaners?

We had a C Tourer with similar seats although ours were a darker beige/ caramel colour and I used fabric cleaner similar to Vax cleaner but be sure that your cloth or sponge is white so that the colour does not mark the fabric.

A professional would use a hand held steamer to lift away the dirt and grease

We don’t have a steamer. But we do have a vax. I’ll see how it goes.

How do folks wash the mattress covers from the beds? It’s the same suede material.

If it has a zipper, pop it in the washing machine on a cool delicate wash or dry clean

I've just washed our front seat covers in the washing machine on 30° delicates.
They've come out really well but a pain to get on and off.
I emailed the manufactures first, they recommended steam cleaning but said a delicate wash would be ok too.

Just to close this out and leave our experiences for other searchers:

The seat upholstery cleaned up fantastically with our vax cleaner.

The curtains we washed in the washing machine on the wool wash. Came up great

The bed covers were similarly washed on a “quick wash” and came out looking great. Not a hint of damage.

I hope this helps others later.
